Jill Featherstone - Bookings
There is nothing I love more than to share the knowledge and strategies I gained as I persevered through challenges, struggles, setbacks, and victories.

I have broken down my own barriers of fear and resistance so that I can share my stories of battling through generational trauma & addiction, seeking passion & purpose, and overcoming circumstance & stereotyping.
From conference keynotes to classroom visits, if you feel that my services can benefit your group please don't hesitate to reach out!
I am also the founder of Featherstone Support Services.
Featherstone Support Services was created to offer motivational workshops designed to aid all people, Indigenous and non-Indigenous, uncover inner strengths, battle stigma with positive self-image and share stories and wisdom to empower each other along life's journey.

Awaken the Spirit is our most successful and most requested workshop. Since 2014 Awaken the Spirit has helped hundreds of youth and young adults across Manitoba and Ontario break free from the stigma and cycle of dependency and venture off into the workforce or go back to school.
We have also trained over 150 community service providers to take this workshop back into their own communities with Awaken the Spirit - Train the Trainer.
Message from the Founder...
I created Awaken the Spirit in 2013 because I had a burning desire to help young people in the way that I was helped. My younger years were plagued by racism, alcohol, depression, and teen pregnancy, to name a few.

When I finally came out of the haze that was my teenage years, I was relieved to find that my spirit wasn't completely broken and I still wanted more for my life. I also knew that I couldn't have done it alone. I was grateful for the supports that had brought me through that rough time and I knew that someday I would do for others what someone had done for me.
Fast forward 15 years, I took all my experience, research, formal and informal education and combined it to create this program. But creating the program wasn’t enough. I had to take it out on the road to see if it really worked. After a few years of trials and testing, I have finally come to rest with a program that captures the essentials of what needs to be learned and implemented.
Adam, Youth Workshop
I feel confident in myself knowing that I can do something for myself. And I am glad to know that there are people out there who do this for Aboriginal people.
Terry, Train the Trainer
I am looking forward to taking the teachings into our communities. I recommend this workshop to anyone that has the opportunity to teach our youth. Awakening the Spirit does just what the title says. It Awakens our Spirits to Learn!
Christina, Youth Workshop
This workshop gave me a positive outlook on everything and makes me want to work harder to get to where I want to go and be.
